From the warmth of my window

I wait for a husband walking the 8 miles home from work, public transport having stopped and news of my Dad trying to find a way home when it seems all the routes are blocked.

Thanks for the love, all home in the warm now .... and breathe.

Oh dear, 8 miles is a long way to walk in normal conditions, I hope he gets home safe and soon, along with your Dad xxx

This is how we were last week...several feet of snow and below 0 Fahrenheit temps. Our whole town shut down, businesses as well as roads. We are still receiving snow, and oh boy, I am loving the hot chocolate!

8 miles...that's a really long way to walk. Does he have places to stop along the way to warm up?

Please do keep us posted.

I am so glad i didn't read this earlier. The snow is beautiful, but very worrying when loved ones are travelling. Glad they are home safe. xxx

I love the snow when I can stay home and enjoy it. Not so keen on driving in it.

Hope the weather treats you all better tomorrow. Keep warm and cheerful.

So happy that you can breathe easily again! I'm really not looking forward to winter driving.
