On Repeat - Yarn Along

Joining in with Ginny http://www.gsheller.com
Sharing a weekly knit and a read.

It happened again, I devoured a book - started in Ireland, half heartily read the first few chapters, far too sleeply to concentrate after days of wonderful adventure, discarded.
Picked up again and inhaled from the beginning to end, in a couple of days.
Read it, it's fabulous.
Children of Willow Farm coming to an end too, three chapters to go, such a delightful book, packed with gentle explanations of farming ways and country living.
And socks, the boy wanted pink socks, so he got them, very quickly.

I have the Snow Child on my list to read. Good to have a recommendation for it. You are a super-dooper fast sock knitter. Love the self patterning yarn. Very cool socks for your boy.

Oh! The Snow Child....the most beautiful book I have ever read. I read it every year and save (savour) it for that post-Christmas-January lull. We are reading The Famous Five, currently on book six, but would like to venture out into some others, the Children of Willow Farm sounds a very sweet read xx
