As, the veil thins
All those family, friends, loved ones, who have gone before
All those that have lived rich, full lives and those taken far, too soon
My daughter Emma Joan and my sweet friends daughter Kelly
I remember you all

By my bed
Reading and to be read.
The pile is high and multiplying ready for all the long, dark nights of winter.
Mostly new to me books, found in charity shops and carboot sales, not really one for rereading books but a couple have slipped in "to kill a mocking bird" is one,as K is studying this for English literature and it's an all time favourite of mine, Darling Buds of May too, another love of mine.
What about you ? What's in your book pile ?

Right outside my window
Reminding me, that I don't have to race off to local beauty spots, to savour autumn, in all it's flirty, glory, lucky me, it's right outside my window.

At our School
In the eyes of the education system, O would have started his school years back in September.
He didn't, he remains at home.
He didn't, he remains at home.
Our days have continued pretty unchanged.
We have been dipping our toes back into our local home education scene, alittle more planning is happening and 2 workbooks make an occasional appearance.
Crafting, ofcourse, is happening.
Autumn lends itself so beautifully to making, seeing, doing, learning.
Our days, are slow, play-filled, colourful times.
Long may they reign.
