Hunter Happiness

I asked anyone and everyone I saw yesterday, if they knew a place with a good patch of wild garlic ( me being completely inspired by Claire over at http://mamauktalesfromwales.blogspot.com/ )
I received lots of great advice of where to find the best, tastiest and most garlicky ! But all where miles away.
Another Free Food Friday missed.

Until on the way home from the drama, ballet and tap runs that is our Saturday, I spied it from the car window, not 2 minutes from home, right there under my nose.

I'm a day late in joining in but am too excited to wait until next week.
Forgive me ... please.
Off to make lots of garlic goodies.
Thanks Claire.

Hi, Can't quite remember how I happened upon your blog, but I enjoy it and had to leave a comment.
I was out and about myself on Saturday, gathering wild garlic to come home and whizz up a fair old quantity of wild garlic pesto.
Lunch today was made of a baked potato with wild garlic pesto.
And all this time I'd thought I was on my own raving about it and seeking out recipes to use it in.

PS I'm not sure if your name indicates your location, but I was picking my wild garlic from woods in Nocton. :)
