Knitting Matters

How proud am I of this knit - the Elizabeth Zimmermann Baby Surprise Jacket.
Such a wonderful pattern to knit, such a mystery as you knit along trusting all will come right !
And WOW did it come right, think I need to cast another on.

Socks for O, the first pair I have ever knitted him ... how silly is that after all the pairs I've knitted.

WIP - another dishcloth.

Ohhh that really is a lovely jacket :-)
I'm chomping at the bit to get the hook size I need so I can have get on with the dress I've been asked to do.

IN fact, buggerit, I think I'll just order it now online.

Where did you get the pattern?

That jacket is gorgeous!!! I've always wanted to knit it as well, was it easy? It looks tricky which is why I've put it off and put it off!!!

'that jacket is gorgeous. And I love the dish cloth. My dish cloths are always a simple, simple crochet pattern. Nothing fancy at all. Yours is beautiful.

Hi Mama4
Socks and dishcloths are my favourite things to knit. I love the baby jacket, I'm not good at garments but this looks doable. Think I might hava a try for my 23rd great niece for Christmas.

I love the jacket!!! I made the Februaury baby sweater of Zimmermans but have put off making the jacket because I would need to size up? What size is yours? Did you size up? My dd is sort of 1-2 yrs and I'd love one for her but not sure to attempt in case it all comes out too small!!!
