The Good, The Naughty and the Very Fishy

The Good, using the bounty of veg from our garden - Courgette and Tomato Flan.

The Naughty - a box of these darlings to welcome home your girl from summer camp.

Another Naughty ( but very nice ! ) Mama-Made Lemon Cheesecake, well, it's not every day your first born turns 16 .. oh my goodness!
Cheesecake is his treat of choice, he has his own Top Five List.

The Very Fishy - a stack of fishy face cloths for a Water themed swap.

Whats the news from your kitchen ?

Oh, they all look wonderful! I've never seen dish cloths done up as fish and I just think they are cuter than a bug's ear! :)

Hi dear friend...my oldest just turned 40 on the 10th; talk about feeling my age:)
The lemon cheesecake looks luscious and it was my mother's favorite.
I love the "fish cloths". Do you share patterns?
Love you. Wish we were having tea with that cheesecake. xoxo

Gorgeous pictures, only I'd have put the cakes under the Nice category!! What's the news in my kitchen? Well, I tidied it yesterday and it gives me a little shoot of pleasure each time I walk into it. Makes me want to do some baking when it's tidy and surfaces are wiped. I keep stroking my cooker, it's so shiny. That's one of the plus-sides of having people over for the day - it makes me clean up!!!

Hope all is well your end, feels like I haven't seen you for years and years. One day ...........

Yum, I'm rather partial to lemon cheesecake too.

My kitchen is smellig rather gorgeous at the mo too - blueberry muffins were baked earlier and a lovely chewy crusty artisan loaf... which has been devoured at lunchtime :-)

Love the pics...looks soooo yummy. I tried making cupcakes (again). Yet another failure. If you have a cupcake for dummies recipe, please share! I'm great at baking bread type things, but cake...something doesn't compute.
