and finally ....

Anyone remember this ? http://abigsmile4.blogspot.com/2008/10/joining-queue.html
Pattern and yarn bought to celebrate O turning 1.

So, it made it off the needles by the time he was 2.

And, I've finally managed to blog about it, now he is 3 ( and 3 months )

Good job I knitted it big, still be around by the time he's 6, by my reckoning.

Sweet Friend, I love the sweater and know that handmade, no matter how long it takes, is so full of love. Thank you for your comments; you have me in tears, knowing very well Kelly brought us together.
My mother said, of all the careers a woman may choose, being a mother will be the hardest. My youngest brother died when he was 14 of a brain aneurysm and yet she continued to be the best mother to us in spite of her pain as I can see from your blog you are. I'm glad you're in my life. I love you.xoxo

Beautiful! Love the stripey boyishness of this sweater...one to treasure and save for HIS sons...

Lovely jumper! I adore the stripeness! I still have a jumper to finish I started 2 years ago, I only have one sleeve to do but I keep forgetting! Wish I was a quick knitter like my mum. :) x

Wow!! it looks so great!! I love the colors and it just looks so well done. Maybe one day I can knit a good sweater like that. I will come back to you for that pattern if you think it is good for semi-beginners. I don't know...looks pretty awesome. It's one of my goals...to make a real sweater!

But it was worth the wait!! "You'll grow into it" are some of my favourite words, after all the work of making something, it needs to last doesn't it!!

Did you get my email? Hoping to meet up with the ladies on Monday, so will give wool to Angela.

Are you getting a bit of a thaw in your garden lately? Am interested to know how your chooks are coping in this weather as I'd love to get some chickens in the Spring. Hope you are all well and keeping cosy. xxxxx

Oh Denise you make me laugh~!

I am so glad Oscar has his jersey...I take my hat off to you. Its this very reason I chose to knit little small toys. I always have such plans to make bigger items. I think its all in the speed of the wrist~

I hope my sweet friend that you are well.

Lots of love
