The Knit - Plain Vest by Pickles number 2, first was cast on Solstice night for O, perfect silvery yarn reflecting the snow and ice, this one is going to be a gift for a friend's child turning 1.

Glorious read and I do love that grey, so soft and cuddly. I haven't done a vest yet, but it's on my to do for 2011. My guy is about a size 6 could this pattern work for him?? Happy New Year!

I really must join in this one week. Lovely knitting - and what a fab book. The author lives quite close to where we used to and we heard about her project at the time. i bought the book on an outing with my mum, so special memories. You will be spinning nettle fibre soon :)
