Note to Self

He is not worried that we are late making it, that Christmas has been and gone and a New Year has started.
That Mama's words "not today" "maybe later" "not now" have finally ended.
He is just delighted that we have made it.
And that he got to eat some ( just a little some )

We can learn a lot from small children can't we, slowing down, forgiveness ... and oh so much more!

We once made our Christmas gingerbread house in February, still loved x

I think we would be doing ours right now if we hadn't been let off the hook by receiving a ready made one as a Christmas present! Looks scrummy!

This looks so delicious that my mouth is watering. Mine are still little enough that I would get to eat most of it! Mmmm, that's on the list of things to do next year!

I believe a gingerbread house tastes nice all the round

Denise~I have so many projects I didn't finish and certainly a lot of baking I didn't do with Ari, but I've stopped trying to put time constraints on spending moments with our loved ones. I love the gingerbread house and I agree, gingerbread is great anytime of year! XOXO
